Extreme’s OKTAG LED Police Light contains 8 light heads, each containing 6 Gen III .75-Watt Bulbs. This Traffic Advisor offers 26 flash patterns the most in the industry. The OKTAG LED Police Light has also been built so that it can be used in other conditions and locations in the vehicle if desired not just as a traffic advisor. Suction cups are also included so that you can mount to the front windshield. L brackets are included to so you can mount it to the rear deck or to the top of your headliner.
The OKTAG LED Police Lights are constructed of durable space grade aluminum not plastic. It is sealed so that it can also be mounted outside of the vehicle. We use only the latest in locking Molex connectors inside of this unit so that in the event a bulb ever burns out or malfunctions it can be replaced within a matter of minutes. The competition requires you to have soldering skills. As we had this designed and built we focused on the end user being able to fix the unit if it ever had a light go out which I doubt will happen.
There is no need to have a large and bulky switch box for this unit as our dual switch allows for you to power on and change patterns at the flip of a switch. The OKTAG LED Police Light includes a cigarette lighter plug already attached but if needed, to plug directly to an existing switch box such as Whelen or Federal you can simply remove the cigarette lighter plug and then plug your + and – directly to the switch box.
