The universal fit makes it an excellent choice for undercover police cars, construction vehicles, and volunteer firefighter personal vehicles. A cigarette lighter plug and control switch are installed on the cord and allow for natural use. We bought this for one of our fire vehicles. It is very bright and we ordered it with the takedown option. It is not made out of plastic as some other companies do. It is made from an aluminum housing which makes it very heavy duty.
Great visor light bar at a great price. I was concerned that the LEDs wouldn't be that bright, but they are easily as bright as any other that I've seen (under $500). Price can't be beat. Good selection of flash patterns. For me, once I set - i don't change so I had no need for control buttons on the unit itself.
