The Voyager 9 has 90 Watts; each LED is 10 Watts, and in total they produce 8100 lumens. That’s a lot of brilliantly focused light on one single place, but when you need a lot of light to get the job done, that’s exactly when you want a light bar like the ‘9’. It’s got a strong die-cast aluminum case with a polycarbonate lens that won’t crack or yellow, and it’s sealed ‘tight’ meeting the IP-67 rating, so it won’t let dirt or moisture in. The CREE LEDs are daylight white, measuring 6500K on the color spectrum. The Voyager ‘9’, ‘12’, and ‘15’ are designed for larger vehicles and range from 13.5” to 21.5”. They come pre-wired with an 18’ cord that will reach almost any place you’d want to install it. The ‘9’ runs on 10-30 volts; you can depend on it to last 30,000 hours. If you’re looking for a medium size spot light, Voyager 9 is a great midsize light in this series.
If you need a lot of light on a specific place, a spot light is exactly what you want whether you are at the scene of an emergency or doing construction work at night. Floodlights are great to light up a whole area; but ‘spots’ zero in on a targeted point. Any first responder knows that some of the most difficult situations happen at night, and when the worst happens after the sun goes down, you need all the light you can get!
