If you think the Hideaway 8 was a powerful little emergency vehicle light, then you’ll be blown away by the Hideaway 12 because it’s got 12 Generation IV 3 Watts LEDs instead of 8! That’s 36 Watts! The 8’s are eye squinting; the 12’s are blindingly bright and, like the 8’s, are made to synchronize and alternate with up to 20 other lights. The Hideaway Series does just that; they are mounted in the headlights or tail lights, out of sight until turned on...totally ‘hidden away.’ Police emergency lights don’t come any more low profile than the Hideaways, but even when mounted on the surface in full view, they are so small they go unnoticed. Don’t think twice about putting them as low as you want on the vehicle; they are 100% waterproof with aluminum housings and polycarbonate lenses. They are durable, long lasting, and virtually indestructible. The 15’ power cord has a built in flasher, so you don’t have to buy one. They are tough and durable with LEDs that last 100,000 hours! Customize the color from 5 solids or 7 split-color combinations.
Remember to install any Hideaway as close to the focal point of the manufacturer’s lights as possible, and if these are the only lights on your vehicle, you’ll need to purchase a switch. Included in your purchase is a mounting flange and a rubber gasket for a tight fit. ETD recommends that you use an EVT expert whenever you can, but if you’re a DIY person, then check out the instruction information before you start. The Hideaway Series has been created to take the place of older style strobe tube kits.
