The Lynx T6-4 is an 18-inch, four-head LED warning light bar for rear decks, push bumpers and other positions where you want more width than a compact two-head light. Its 24 Generation V 3-watt LEDs deliver SAE J595 Class 1 warning performance through focused TIR lenses. Choose from 36 patterns, save two favorites with Dual Memory, and select the color arrangement that suits your vehicle. For exterior mounting, add the optional circuit-board waterproofing upgrade.

TIR means total internal reflection. The lenses concentrate the warning signal into a 40-degree beam, making the T6-4 a practical choice when you want focused output toward approaching traffic. Four heads spread the light across an 18-inch housing without taking up the space of a six- or eight-head bar.

For installation behind tinted glass, aim the light through a clear, unobstructed section of the window and check visibility from outside the vehicle in daylight and darkness. The T6-4 is designed for warning use behind glass, but tint, window angle and mounting position affect how much light reaches traffic. A flashback guard helps reduce light reflected into the cabin.

The aluminum housing and scratch- and shatter-resistant polycarbonate lenses protect the light assembly. Replaceable LED modules let you service an individual module rather than replace the entire bar. Replacement parts are available from ETD.

Choose from 21 color arrangements. Solid colors use the same color in all four heads. Split colors place two heads of one color together and two of the other together. Alternating colors switch the color placement from head to head. These are fixed-color LEDs; individual heads do not change colors.

For example, a red/blue split bar uses Red/Red/Blue/Blue, while an alternating bar uses Red/Blue/Red/Blue. These examples explain the arrangement, not a driver-side or passenger-side orientation. If a particular side must show a particular color, contact ETD before ordering. Choose colors authorized for your vehicle and role.

The T6-4 suits first responders, fleet vehicles and POV owners who need a four-head warning light in a single housing. Rear decks and push bumpers are common mounting questions ETD receives for this size. It can also suit patrol vehicles, fire vehicles, roadside-assistance trucks, tow trucks and utility vehicles when the mounting space and selected colors fit the job.

Choose it when a 9.5-inch two-head bar is too short for the area you want to cover, but a 27-inch six-head bar takes up more room than you have. Left-to-right and right-to-left warning patterns add directional capability without making the T6-4 a substitute for lighting around the whole vehicle. The Lynx T6-4 meets or exceeds SAE J595 Class 1, California Title 13, ECE R65, CISPR 25 Class 3, SAE J1455 and RoHS requirements. These cover warning-light performance, electromagnetic emissions, vehicle environmental performance and restricted substances, as applicable. CISPR 25 Class 3 addresses electromagnetic emissions; it is not a promise of zero interference with every radio installation.

The optional cigarette-lighter control plug includes the Dual Memory switch, pattern-change button and a fuse. An inline switch, suction cups, flashback guard, headliner brackets for visor mounting and an additional 10 feet of wire are available separately. The extra wire extends the supplied cable; it does not replace it. Suction cups and the flashback guard can be used together.

Circuit-board waterproofing is an optional upgrade for exterior mounting. The light heads and housing already have IP67 protection; the upgrade adds IP67 protection to the circuit board. Waterproofing does not restrict your color or mounting choice. For hardwiring, purchase the required 5 A fuse and suitable fuse holder separately.

The included L brackets are suitable for mounting the T6-4 to a rear deck. Measure for the 18-inch housing before ordering, and position the light where trim, headrests or other equipment will not block it. For a removable windshield or rear-window installation, add the optional suction cups.

Light can reflect off the glass and back into the cabin. ETD recommends a flashback guard for rear-deck and other behind-glass installations. It is available separately and works with the optional suction cups.

The supplied L brackets can be used to mount the T6-4 on a push bumper. Select the circuit-board waterproofing upgrade for this or any other exterior position, including a headache rack. Use fasteners suitable for the mounting surface and protect the electrical connections. The four supplied screws attach the brackets to the light; assess vehicle attachment hardware for your installation.

For visor or headliner mounting, add the optional headliner brackets. Other possible mounting locations include a dash, B-pillar or cage where there is adequate space and a secure mounting surface. Keep the light and cable clear of airbags, vehicle controls and the driver's view.

Hardwire the T6-4 to a fused 12V DC supply, or choose the optional cigarette-lighter plug for plug-in operation. Use a 5 A fuse for one T6-4. The optional plug includes a fuse; hardwired installations require separately purchased fuse protection. The inline switch is also optional.

The control plug lets you power either saved memory setting and change the pattern with its pattern button. Dual Memory retains both selections when power is disconnected, so unplugging the light does not erase your choices. Use the dedicated sync wire when connecting current Lynx T6 and L6 lights for synchronized operation.

Yes. The supplied L brackets can be used for push-bumper mounting. Add the circuit-board waterproofing upgrade for exterior use and use attachment hardware suited to the bumper.

The light heads and housing have IP67 protection as standard. The circuit board needs the optional waterproofing upgrade for exterior use. Select that upgrade when ordering for a push bumper, headache rack or another exterior location.

You may see reflected light inside the vehicle. ETD recommends the optional flashback guard for behind-glass mounting. The included L brackets are suitable for rear-deck mounting.

Split colors group the heads as A/A/B/B; alternating colors arrange them A/B/A/B. For red/blue, that means Red/Red/Blue/Blue versus Red/Blue/Red/Blue. Each head keeps its fixed color.

Yes. The optional cigarette-lighter plug has a Dual Memory switch that lets you power either saved setting, plus a pattern-change button. It also includes a fuse.

Yes. The T6-4 can synchronize with current Lynx T6 and L6 lights through its sync wire. It does not synchronize with older T4-series units.

The T6-4 draws 0.75 A while flashing and 3.5 A on steady-on at 12V. Any light can discharge a battery if left running with the engine off. Available runtime depends on the battery and other equipment using power.

No. The flasher is built into the light. Hardwiring requires a fused power connection and suitable controls; the optional inline switch and cigarette-lighter control plug are sold separately.

No. The 18 × 2 × 1.5-inch measurements describe the bare housing. Allow additional space for brackets, accessories and cable routing. Product weight is 2.8 lb.

The Lynx T6-4 comes standard with a free 5-year warranty. No upgrade selection is required. For warranty assistance, contact ETD with your order number and a description of the problem before returning the light.

Email ETD for return authorization, an RMA number and the return form. Eligible returns must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery and remain brand-new with all parts and packaging. Installation attempts or opened internal packaging can make an item ineligible, so review the return terms before installing.

You pay return shipping, and ETD's original shipping cost is deducted from refunds, including subsidized shipping. Custom-built items are not returnable; choosing the waterproofing upgrade alone does not make this light custom-built. Refunds and exchanges are generally processed within 1-10 business days after receipt.
