Choose your color, mounting setup and power connection. The T6-2 runs on 12V DC and comes with a built-in flasher, two L brackets, four bracket screws and a 10-foot cord. Hardwire it or add the optional cigarette-lighter plug for ON/OFF and pattern control. There are 13 solid or fixed split-color combinations, with optional suction cups and a flashback guard for window installations. For exterior mounting, select the waterproofing upgrade.
Light Output & Visibility
TIR means total internal reflection. It focuses the beam toward approaching traffic. Use the T6-2 for a specific approach, with lights in other positions when you need wider coverage.
For mounting behind glass, aim through a clear area and check the light in daylight and darkness. Window tint, glass angle and obstructions can reduce visible output. SAE J595 Class 1 describes warning-light performance; it does not guarantee visibility through every window or from every angle.
Color Options
Choose matching colors or one color per head. Colors are fixed; the heads do not switch colors. If left/right placement matters, confirm the orientation with ETD before ordering.
| Configuration | Head arrangement |
|---|---|
| White/White | Both heads white |
| Red/Red | Both heads red |
| Blue/Blue | Both heads blue |
| Amber/Amber | Both heads amber |
| Green/Green | Both heads green |

Recommended Uses & Limitations
Add compact warning lighting to police vehicles and authorized fire or rescue vehicles where a larger light bar will not fit.
Use it on tow, utility, snow-plow and construction vehicles to add warning at a specific mounting point.
Need left/right traffic arrows? Choose a traffic-advisor model. The T6-2 provides warning patterns, not directional arrows.
Customer reviews describe rear-window, rear-deck, and windshield installations. Use these for ideas, then check the space and mounting needs of your own vehicle.

Fitment, Install, Wiring, Mounting Locations & Options
Where Can You Mount It?
Start with the space you have. Measure the mounting area and cable route, leaving room for brackets and wiring. Keep the light clear of airbags, controls and your view of the road.
| Location | Mount or accessory | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Dash or rear deck | Included L brackets | Space for the light and brackets; a secure mounting surface |
| Windshield or rear window | Optional suction cups; optional flashback guard | Glass angle, secure suction-cup attachment and cabin reflections |
| B-pillar or cage | Included L brackets; installation-specific hardware as needed | Secure attachment and clearance from occupants |
| Push bumper or headache rack | Suitable brackets and exterior mounting hardware | Select the waterproofing upgrade for exterior use |
Mounting the Light
Before drilling, test-fit the brackets and check that the cable reaches your power connection.
Use suitable mounting hardware and protect drilled exterior openings. Attach suction cups to clean, dry glass and check their hold.
Aim toward approaching traffic. Check for cabin reflections with an interior mount; the optional flashback guard helps reduce them.
Connecting Power and Choosing Patterns
Use the T6-2 installation instructions to identify the power, ground, pattern and sync connections, and the required circuit protection.
Keep cables away from heat, sharp edges and moving parts. Protect exterior connections and test the finished installation before driving.
Use a 12V vehicle supply; do not connect directly to 24V.
Select patterns through your hardwired controls or the optional control plug. Steady-on is one of the pattern choices. Follow the installation instructions to select and save your two memory settings.
Care and Troubleshooting
Clean the lens and inspect mounts, suction cups and cables regularly. Fix loose or damaged parts before use. Contact ETD before opening the housing.
| Concern | First check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| No light output | Power supply and ON/OFF setting | Have wiring and circuit protection checked |
| Unwanted cabin reflection | Light position and glass angle | Ask about the optional flashback guard |
| Pattern or sync problem | Compatible models and the correct control instructions | Email ETD about operation; have an installer check vehicle wiring |

Choosing the Right Model
Choose T6-2 for compact two-head warning. Before choosing a longer model, compare its dimensions, mounts and controls with your space and required functions.
When to Choose a Different Product Type
Choose TIR optics for a focused beam or Linear optics for a broader spread. To warn traffic from several directions, consider a rooftop light bar or lights placed around the vehicle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will It Drain My Battery with the Engine Off?
Yes. Runtime depends on battery capacity, condition and other equipment using power. The T6-2 draws more current in steady-on mode than while flashing.
Can Two T6-2 Lights Flash Together?
Yes. Use the sync wire to connect compatible Lynx T-series lights, such as two units on opposite sides of a rear deck. Lynx Linear lights cannot sync with this model.
Do the Dimensions Include the Brackets?
No. The listed size is for the housing only. Allow extra space for the brackets and cable when checking fit.
Can I Mount It Outside?
Yes, with the optional waterproofing upgrade. Select it when ordering, use suitable exterior mounts and protect the electrical connections.
Will It Keep My Patterns When I Unplug It?
Yes. Dual Memory keeps both saved patterns after power is disconnected, ready for the next use.
